About Me
My interest in photography was spawned by my high school art teacher Stephen Masters, the coolest teacher one could ever wish for. I found my comfort zone in the darkroom and still miss the pungent smell of developer and fixer and seeing the images appear right infront of my eyes.

The darkroom was a magical place where dreams came alive on photographic paper and drip dried on a makeshift "clothesline". I spent most of my tween and teen years either behind the camera or trying to learning martial arts-my other passion.

I was fortunate enough to be accepted into Rochester Institute of Technology right out of high school on the strength of my portfolio and SAT scores. I was enrolled in the Technical Photography programe and had access to wonderful teachers and equipment and inspiration.

However, being emotionally too young for college I found that school work interrupted my social life and I left in my sophomore year and didn't pick up a camera again for a long time.

Fast forward to today, the digital age, where "developer" is a someone who writes computer programs! I am fortunate enough to have straddled both worlds and love the new age of digital photography.

What inspires me? The advice of my teacher at RIT; "Look for what you don't see."

I am still looking......
